how to set up host network in virtual box
 
I have installed virtual box on debian lenny host

And installed Arch linux and windows XP as guest OS

Another physical machine is there. I have to create the network using the three machines ( one real machine and two virtual ones )

But when I tried to configure the network interface of guest os, when the os boots the following error shows

Failed to initialise host interface network.

But NAT (the default one) is working fine.

How can I do this?
