How to install Windows xp using Virtualbox OSE without access to a CD rom

Hey guys,

I just recently found out that one of my security programs will not run with linux and requires Windows or OSX. I installed Virtualbox OSE but do not have a cd rom to use.. I have an ISO file on an other computer and was wondering how i could install it. I have a usb stick that i could use or an SD card. just unsure of how to get it to work.

Hi, before you run vBox, copy the iso to an accessible place, and

configure vBox to see the iso as a cdrom image.

In the cdrom/harddrive settings.

Then when you have setup some space for the VM, boot vBox, it should see the cdrom image and start installing M$-windows.

all the best, regards Glenn
