How to autostart KVM guest with encrypted LVM

Does anyone know a way to autostart a KVM guest which uses encrypted LVM? Somehow, the encryption passphrase must be passed to the guest so the os can boot. I've been searching the web for awhile and can't find anything. And of course the passphrase must be stored securely...

That would defeat the purpose...
It's like saying that you want the door to a vault to open automatically: there is no secure way to auto-insert the vault door secret combination that opens it.

Think about it another way: why not just encrypt the data on that VM and not the OS itself?
