how do we access files of host OS in VMware when guest OS is Ubuntu and vice versa?
hello,
I am currently working on my BE project which is regarding accessing the virtual Disk of the guest OS(Ubuntu) in host(Windows).
I would like to know the existing approaches for the same,so that i can refer them.
One is like any computer to computer access. So that would include quite a number of ways from usb flash to network to remote storage. Any way that a normal computer to computer would work in a virtual client to host.
Two is unique to virtual machines. You can set up shared folders in some virtual machine or even mount partitions to each other.
Three is with add on tools that are part of the vm app that allow cut a paste, drag and drop across the systems.
