Hotline Miami (game) with Wine?

Hello

Has anyone managed to get the game Hotline Miami to work on any linux distro besides Arch (the only one that works according to: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManage...sion&iId=26936).

I've tried on Ubuntu 12.10 64bit and on a virtual machine running Slackware 14 64bit without being able to even launch the game.

I've got it running on a Win7 virtual machine but it's too laggy to be played well.

Tried the game on a friend's computer machine and it's the only windows application I've badly needed to get working since switching to linux.

Edit: managed to get it working on the win7 VBOX - the trick is to actually read the prompt when installing the VBOX additions and answer no to Directx which is yes to aero which make the game playable.

Cheers!
