Question Help PHPVIRTUALBOX

it works except i get an error when i take a snapshot. i need this first snapshot so i have an un-altered copy to keep for the next batch of students so i don't have to clone all over again with each new class. i'll post the error message at the end of post. BTW deleting the snapshot gives me same error just different reference #.
i am aware the fix is to not use the pre-zipped version but to install the r500 revision(unfortunately i didn't know this ahead of time). the issue is on their website i don't see that revision in downloads and i really don't know how to go about uninstalling the old one or installing the revision. i have 30 vm's at steak for a classroom server. i also see no forum or means to communicate for help on the phpvirtualbox site. can someone walk me through the steps to get rid of the old install and install the revision or upgrade to the revision. most importantly i don't want to break anything else because i registered these vm's with the bad version of phpvirtualbox

ERROR:
VirtualBox error: Invalid managed object reference "65a3a511e155bf48-0000000000000a15"

while i appreciate your reply you are in fact wrong. i am using phpvirtualbox 4.2 so 4.0 is not the latest one and it is not fixed in any of the default .zip downloads download link here--https://code.google.com/p/phpvirtualbox/downloads/list. it so happens i did fix it myself with help from someone else so i'll share the fix and mark this solved. revision -r500 is actually the fix and this is not included in the zip downloads as well as several other revisions need to get -r500 to work. what needs to be done is get rid of all old phpvirtualbox files(the whole tree from the zip file) and then use svn checkout(subversion)to get the entire trunk which includes all revisions. trunk address here found here...http://phpvirtualbox.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/
so run svn checkout with that link and you end up with a folder named trunk. re-name it to phpvirtual box and move it to /var/www/ directory and then follow the normal steps to set it up such as changing the password in the config file etc...
