Question Hello!Anyone know how to install 64 bit OS in vmware


Hello!

I use window version 8 64 bit,and I am install vmware and virtual box in window 8 ,but I can't install cent os 64 bit in vmware and virtual box.Help me what I needed to do ?,which setting we have needed to edit?

I've done VMware on XP myself, what settings ARE there? (I forget....) Post that here, and I should be able to tell you what to do.

I mean I can't configure 64 bit on vmware although I install 64 bit windows 8,all are 64 bit software.Tell me what I have needed to do for this problem,how can I fix for this problem ?

You'll only be able to install a 64-bit 'guest OS' in VMware products and Virualbox if your CPU supports hardware virtualization.
For Intel CPUs it's called Intel-VT and for AMD CPUs it's called AMD-V. Check on google with your CPU type.

I will second this. Mine was disabled by default.
