Fedora won't work/ super slow in Ubuntu 9.04 Virtual Box
 
Hello,

I'd like to try different distributions virtually before installing them onto a partition. When I tried to install Fedora 11 in virtual box it took forever to boot from the cd and the install didn't go through at all. Is there something that I'm missing or is there no way to get this running properly?

how much memory is on the machine that you're using? and how much was allocated for fedora 11?

the machine itself has 4GB Ram and I allocated Fedora 1GB.
