Debian 6 ARMEL in Qemu

Anyone know if there is a decent guide hiding somewhere for getting a current version of Debian (Either 6 or testing, prefer the latter) running in a qemu setup? All the guides I'm finding are dated and a some or all of the download commands they list no longer work.

Regards,
