We are trying to convert an RHEL to a virtual machine in ESX 5.
The vmware converter keep giving an error message related to /boot:

no /boot directory mounted on source, resultant VM would not be bootable.

This is the /boot status:

# df /boot

I searched in vmware database, but nothing helped.

Run the mount command. Is you /boot partition mounted read/write?
