Citrix XenServer or Xen on CentOS

Was thinking about using Citrix XenServer but turns out that after installing the XenServer we still need to install a Linux Supplemental Pack in order to create a VM. After looking at CentOS's Wiki, appears that creating a VM using CentOS's built in Xen server isn't too difficult and allows me to use one vendor product. Any pros and cons against either Citrix XenServer or CentOS's built in Xen server?

Both XEN and XENServer are based on the same virtualization, XEN. The difference is in the add-on tools. Citrix has put together their own set of GUI utilities to assist you in creating and managing VMs CentOS has their own utilities to control your virtual machines. That will be the primary difference. If you run a stripped down CENTOS then it would basically be the same thing as XENServer. the VMWare products also work well. But only ESX is a hypervisor in the real sense. The other solutions are host based solutions.
