Can I manually edit TLB to play with the current design of the hypervisor?

Hey folks,
I am wondering if anybody here is playing around with the virtualization under any of these new multi/many OSes come to the market I can see Barrelfish, teslations, Akaros, FOS, ... etc

I know this would look weird, but I do really have a related question here:
Is there anyway in Linux or any other similar OSes to control the TLB or play around with it, I really want to although I do know this is something nowadays totally is done by the MMU unit which is a hardware setting, but we have a new comers of multi/many core OSes and I have no idea how they handle that in the future, so you guys have any idea how to play with the TLBs in linux ?

Looking at Intel SCC chip and the AMD Opteron, and many other similar chips I really want to know how can I control such a thing or will the future hypervisor will take the same trend of the current design.

I want to dig more in this area and I really don't know what or how to start in Virtulization in manycore
I have no idea either this how to be started?
