Question Can't install CentOS 6.3 on MS Virtual PC

As the subject says, trying to install CentOS on a Windows 7 Virtual PC and after the circle completes the installation halts. Does the same if a CD or ISO is used.

The VPC has 1024Mb RAM, 130Gb dynamic HD and boots from CD.

Am I missing something or this just not meant to be.

Did you test the iso download for correct shal or md5?

I don't use VPC but I have many times in the past. It is an OK product if you don't need usb support.

I guess it may help to know more about the host computer.

I can't access this link right now but see it maybe. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dd4ZkSXNMp0

VirtualPC nowadays is the worst product you can choose for virtualizing Linux. Its main purpose nowadays is to be used as a VM for Windows XP in Windows 7 (XP Mode). It totally lacks support for Linux, which means no graphics acceleration, no mouse pointer integration, no seamless windows, no shared folders and all the other feature modern VMs have.
