Burn CD with Qemu

Hello,

I have a cd .iso image inside a qemu hard disk image and i want to burn it to a real CD.

Is possible to burn that image directly from the virtual OS?

As far as I suppose..it should be. Technically speaking, a virtual OS will use your original cd/dvd recorder to complete this operation.
Try to look for some burning software for you guest machine.
On the other hand, burning is a highly resource-consuming, in this case used by your host machine so as result your guest and host machines may work slowly.

Inside the virtual machine I opened brasero, but it keeps asking for media (I tried multiple CDs)
In Qemu, I am using /dev/cdrom as cd drive

By the way, can I transfer the iso to the host system and burn?

you may need to transfer it to a 3rd medium, such as a thumb drive, & then back to the host O/S.

then burn it.

I transfered the file to my host OS using a samba server
and then I burned the CD.

Why I didn't think about this before?
