add one more virtual Machine


IBM x 3850 X5 server

RHEL 6 64 bit Host

Rhel 4.8 Guest

both OS running smoothly,

i configured

ifcfg-eth0,
ifcfg-eth1 and
ifcfg-br0 files
in host OS

can i add another Virtual Machine,by adding another bridge but i have only two NIC.


If possible please guide me guys.

There are three ways to use networking in most virtual machines. One is to bridge the installed nic(s). Another is to use the VM's virtual router and create virtual nic cards in machine setup to NAT to the host's real nic. Lastly is a VM only network similar to NAT but without any connection to the real nic.

You can make as many virtual machines as you have resources. I almost always use NAT for my vm's.

So, how do you wish to configure other vm's?
