Accessing Hard Drives from VirtualBox

Running Ubuntu 9.10 and a Virtualbox of WinXP. I want the virtual WinXP to see my Ubuntu Desktop folder. How do I set this up?

Also, the reason I'm using Virtualbox is because I couldn't get my USB devices to play nice with WINE. If anyone has advice here, that'd also be helpful.

Use the Shared Folders setup - from the main console look at the bottom of the list of settings for your virtual machine. All you need to do is specify the path to your Ubuntu desktop, and have the virtualbox additions installed on the virtual Windows machine. When the machine is running, look under devices -> Shared Folders

In the Windows machine, the shared folder is listed in "My Network Places"

More detail is in chapter 4.6 of the Virtualbox help file.
