[SOLVED] Vmplayer 3 problem on Debian 6

Hi all.

I've a problem with Vmplayer 3. When I run the command "vmplayer" on console and the program don't run and don't show anything.

The log file show:

Sounds like a dependency issue.

What I would star with is -->

ldd command

which should give you an output of files needed. You can research from there.

Hi jv2112, thanks for reply.

I try as root "ldd /usr/bin/vmplayer" and the output show

"not a dynamic executable"

I google this but found no answer. I'm forgetting something?

I found the solution.

looking for the dependecies solution, I update the libgtkmm-2.4.so.1 library from debian testing and now Vmplayer 3.1.4 is runing.
