upgrade virtual box on ubuntu9.10 64 bit what's the best approach ?


i wonder if anyone might recommend of the best way to upgrade an existing running environment of VB with a new version as suggested from time to time by sun/oracle .

I have done it once and this was a nightmare . any one can come up with "best practice" ?

If I am understanding correctly: after a kernel upgrade try

/etc/rc.d/rc.vboxdrv setup

Recompiled for your new fresh kernel. Safe, and no need to restart
