vmx is for AMD CPU's
svm is for Intel CPU's which he has...

I guess your CPU is broken Tinkers. It thinks its an Intel but for sure is an AMD
Damn I mixed them up again. Tinkers is right.

svm is for the AMD virtualisation
vmx for the Intel kinds


But none the less the OP's cpu got the right cpu flag.

What I totaly missed out:
When you start with the kernel that comes with Centos do you get the "kvm: no hardware" error to?
