Installing VM Tools

I have VMWare Player 3.1.5 and on my VM I have Fedora 16.

I have installed the VM Tools with partial success.

The first problem was that the Config Tools wanted to find gcc - but I was able to install that and no problem.

The second problem is that the Config Tools is "Searching for a valid kernel header path" (and failing to find a valid one. I see that i appear to have kernel-headers-3.2.1-3.fc16 installed - but that does not appear to be what is required.

What should I add?

Thaks in advance.

You probably need to install the kernel sources so that it can use gcc to compile a driver based on your kernel.
