me and a few buddies are linux users and we have been wanting to join a LUG but cant seem to find one in our local area, i want to start one but have no idea where to start. any ideas?
There were other references can find with Google. You may want to locate the nearest LUG to you anyway, as they may be able to give you some information to get started or tips on getting started.
Probably be prepared to keep you sleeves rolled up and your hands in the workings for the duration of the group. It will only be as successful as the work you put into it.
XavierP's link is to the newer version of the User Group How-To, which is another reason I keep coming back to this great site! I love to find new stuff I didn't know before!
