This is a new LUG that I started due to the fact that there are almost no LUGs in my area that are active. Anybody from anywhere is welcome, it helps to live nearby though. I aim to create a community where we can get together, have fun, and talk about linux and other things that are on your minds. When I was living in NJ, I always thought the same thing. There really aren't a whole lot of tech groups out there, at least not meeting publicly. I had wanted to set something up for awhile, but couldn't get anyone interested unfortunately. Around that time FUBAR Labs started up though, and they seem to be doing pretty well for themselves.

I think I am a little too far out to participate now (I have since moved into PA), but good luck with the group. The site looks great.
