Are you looking for a group to join, or simply a group that you can get information from? If you are looking for a group just for information, then it shouldn't make any difference where they are from. If you are looking for a 'club' to join, then that is a different matter. Perhaps you could try Google, to get a list of Linux groups. It might provide you with a comprehensive list of names.

I found this in less than a minute with a Google search. No Prince Edward Island, but there are LUG's for Moncton, Nova Scotia, and so on.

Thanks fellas, not sure about joining a club or group. Not just yet, depends in what a club can offer,or perhaps more importantly just what I could offer a group or club, at least at this time,I couldn't offer much I'm affraid. At this moment I do not know of a single soul for miles ,well at least as far as Moncton who uses Linux, other than my self. And I'm still teathered to Windows. I guess I though someone in this forum might be a member in a local group. This is a great forum but it would be nice to get to know people face to face. Anyway thanks again.

jaheebafat,

If that's the case, you should post a separate thread for Tacoma, or greater Seattle area or something. Nobody's gonna see it in here.

<edit> I just saw that you did post a new thread. Sorry about this. </edit>

Regards,
