Linux Group in Fargo, ND area/Moorhead, MN area startup?
Hi. First, I would like for anyone in this area of the country (USA) who would be interested in starting a local Linux group, please contact me (through reply to this post or private message is fine). But if I can even get one or two people to organize a meeting, I think my enthusiasm could get a local club going, if there is not one already. Thank you!

Heya Kevin,
I'm currently in South Korea, but will be returning to the US in September. I've been using Ubuntu since Hardy distro and feel that I'm little more than a novice. I've used DOS and UNIX, so a lot of the command line is familiar to me, but I'm really in need of help. I'd love to join/start a users group if you are still interested. I'm REALLY big into promoting open source and freeware. I feel that MS and Apple are only contributing to the problems that we face as the patent trolls get more advanced with their litigation.
Type to me at my regular email. Thanks!

Hey, I'll be moving to Fargo within a couple months. Was searching around to see if any LUGs existed in the area and found this thread. Have you got anything going yet? I've never been part of a LUG but figure it might be a good way to meet some people since I will be new in town.

I don't live anywhere near Fargo, but I wanted to stop by to wish you good luck. LUGs are a vital tool to help Linux nerds and novices alike make real-life connections with fellow users, so in my opinion: the more the merrier!

Kind of a old post, but I live within a two hour drive. If this goes anywhere, I am in. I do hope you continue even with this little of posting, local fliers might even help.
