CWRSYNC error "0 x c"

We run a few cwrsync backups from a Windows 2008 server to a linux box offsite. It works well most of the time but we do come across the error "0xC" when checking on their completion in the task manager. Any idea what this error is for?

Hi,

Error code 0xC (decimal 12) means "Error in rsync protocol data stream".

There is some information on this error at https://rsync.samba.org/FAQ.html#1.

You can also find a list of error codes at http://wpkg.org/Rsync_exit_codes.

We might be able to be of more help if you share the actual error messages you're seeing.

Regards,

Clifford
