Question yum repositories ??


how do i find yum repos over the internet ?

are sourceforge.net and freshmeat.com yum repos ? If so how can i configure yum to include these in its search

No they are not yum repos. You can search on google for "fedora+yum+repositories" and I am sure you will get links to some of the more common repos. You can use freshrpms, dag, dries and livna. Livna packages can cause conflicts with the other repos so be careful when mixing repos.

Click here for a small walkthrouh. Also go to www.nrpms.net for instructions how to install their repository (They have the latest Gnome packages). Hope this helps.
