Unhappy Yum refuses to do anything

g'day folks,
ive been having some trouble with yum off late. it seems when i try anyhing related to yum, i just cannot get any responce from it. it always keeps giving me this particuliar output.

Setting up Install Process
Setting up repositories
Cannot open/read repomd.xml file for repository: livna-stable
failure: repodata/repomd.xml from livna-stable: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.
Error: failure: repodata/repomd.xml from livna-stable: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.

i was hoping to get this sorted out asap because i am trying desperately to get my ATI card installed and i need yum to do so. i thought "loki updates" may have something to do with it because i installed some software recently that installed loki updates and since then yum refuses to work. ive uninstalled the software but have no idea how to get rid of loki updates. any suggestions ?

thanx for your help.

I second that. . .the livna repos are down.
This means you should open up your /etc/yum.conf file, and comment out the livna repos.
There should be a way to not have yum fail just because one of the repos is down.
If there is I don't know it.

Havn't seen anything official about this yet... confused people may be enlightened by the wiki:

why get rid of it? just add a mirror, e.g. http://mirror.linuxquestions.org/pub.../i386/RPMS.lvn
