try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
 You could
try runningrpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

Thanks in advance

If you look carefully, it says you are trying to install 'el5' pkg(s) ie RHEL5.x , but you are on a an 'el6' ie RHEL6 system ....
You need to check your repo definitions.

This is the iso image i mounted for elastix installation
"Elastix-2.2.0-i386-bin-01Nov2011.iso"

This is my repo config for elastix
PHP Code:

[Elastix-cd]
name=Elastix-cd
baseurl
=file:///mnt/iso/

gpgcheck=0
enabled
=

how can i solve this??? and how can i turn the system to user e16 repo?

Has one got the answer of this issue.
I faced this issue too and I got the same error notification while I was installing elastix 2.3 on a remote server having centos 6.2 64bits.
I'm still looking for solutions.
I wonder how people who completed remote elastix install, really did.

Thanks in advance

for forcing a RHEL5 program on a RHEL6 OS
NO
some simple programs will work
but not a complex one like a pbx

run that RHEL5 suite of programs on a RHEL5 os

however the 2.3 ( from the sourceforge page ) looks to be new enough for CentOS 6.3
April 3 of this year ( 4/3/2012 )

you might want to have a look at the Elastix forums

Hello
There is one thing I don't really understand.
While proceeding elastix 2.2 install on a remote dedicated server with centos 5.9 (including a fixed/public IP@), I succesfuly setted up required IP's @ and I got the message above:

"

Asterisk is already running

Welcome to Elastix
----------------------------------------------------

Elastix is a product meant to be configured through a web browser.
Any changes made from within the command line may corrupt the system
configuration and produce unexpected behavior; in addition, changes
made to system files through here may be lost when doing an update.

To access your Elastix System, using a separate workstation (PC/MAC/Linux)
Open the Internet Browser using the following URL:
http://87.10x.x.x

[root@s16636921 ~]#
"

The issue is the required link http://87.10x.x.x does not open.
I can't access the elastix admin website.
I tried to edit the amportal.conf and add the correct IPaddress of the server hostname. I then restarted the amportal service and even the server, but it didn't change anything.

Thanks for your answer inadvance
