YouTube full screen not working in latest Chrome v 23

Hello everyone,

After the latest Chrome update, whenever I try to put YouTube video in full screen mode the video "tries" to go to full screen and freezes (like displayed in linked image):

This is true only for videos that have higher qualities available (i.e. 720p). This video won't go to fullscreen no matter what quality setting is chosen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpINRxmRUTM.
On the other hand, videos that have the best quality of 480p can go to full screen wo any problems. This video goes to full screen wo any problems: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHRyz...feature=g-vrec.
I've tried with and without "Enable hardware acceleration" but works the same in both cases.
One other important note is that this issue is not present in Firefox (actually Iceweasel v11) - full screen works fine for any YouTube video.

Has anyone experienced the same problem?

I'm using CrunchBang linux (Debian Squeeze based distro, kernel version 3.2). My Chrome version is 23.0.1271.64.

Thanks.

In Chrome go to settings and look for extensions. Look for the extension called youtube. Make sure that is installed and updated. In fact, make sure ALL your extensions are up to date. You can also just download the video and use Dragon Player or VLC to see it locally.

Thanks @mdlinuxwolf for suggestion. I've checked, I don't have "youtube" extension in Chrome (nor any plugin named like that). Actually, I never saw such extension in Chrome on any platform. I'm running CrunchBang Linux (Debian based distro).
Anyway, I've discovered that this fullscreen bug occurs only on my external monitor (I'm on HP ProBook 4515s). So, if I try to fullscreen YouTube video (with quality 720p and above) on laptop monitor everything is fine.
I must note that I didn't update display drivers recently - the only thing I updated is Chrome. Hm... maybe I should try updating drivers. Will try.

Oops!!

It may be an app, not an extension. Here's the link.

I hope this helps.
