Yast wont update, install, etc.

I am running Suse 9.2 and have had this same problem on two different computers on every single install. When I go into Yast and try and do the Online Update all of the packages are greyed out. I can't change them to install, upgrade, uninstall, etc. This is for every single view including Search. I've tried running this as a normal user and enter in the root password and I have tried logging in as root and running it. Any ideas what is wrong?

Noticed something else odd about it. 90% of the packages do not have any "available version" information. Which would make sense why it wont let me upgrade or install this unknown version.
