Yahoo Messenger for Linux
 
I installed an rpm of Yahoo messenger designed for redhat 9 (available from yahoo.com)
on Fedora core 2.It showed no problem during installation but it's not running at all.
Can any one suggest how can i work it out.

Don't know about the one you installed but you can get YIM through gaim or kopete.

Seems work on my SUSE 9.2 rig here :-)

Run /usr/bin/ymessenger from X Window to launch the application.
you have to do it this way to run the config and finalize the install.

If uou still cant get it run.. just go for kopete.. its 100% !!
