yahoo messenger does not launch
 

When I am trying to open the yahoo messenger from the menu, its not opening. To know the problem, i typed ymessenger in the console and the following error occurs

Can i open yahoo messenger again?
Why is there a segmentation fault?
In linux, my applications usually stop launching sayin all these. If there is a solution to solve this problem, i would like to know

hello i am having the same problem with messenger however it is opening but my problem comes in that it always pops up the block saying yahoo messenger has encountered s problem and needs to end. you may be able to right click your mouse and do the run as program that may solve your problem good luck to you if you know what may be wrong with mine please let me know thanks, sugarlipsck4
