i know its a little off subject but i cant remember if this was a linux app or win app anyway it was a yahoo based client but ran through non yahoo servers and hadd all of yahoo features pluss more i had origanaly gotten the program with a set of proggies but no one seams to know of it or where i can get it any help would be great

What kind of features did it have that you are still missing from one of the opensource versions that support yahoo? It sounds like one of those clients with a bunch of extra features that everyone gets annoyed by (like bombs and other annoying messages that constantly repeat themself).
For a good yahoo client in linux I would recommend ayttm. It is still being actively developed. Originally it was a fork from everybuddy (which was kind of unstable), but they have come a long way already in making it stable.
