Y2006 bug?

My old IBM netvista server (celly 633) crashed this morning at something like 01:01. It didn't hang, but actually restarted as the logs show the machine came back up. The last entry in the log was at 01:01 so it may have rebooted a few seconds after that. It is running kernel 2.6.11. did anyone else have this? Could it be due to the leap second? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leap_second). The machine wasn't with me for 2005's new year so don't know if it crashed then.

u can check if it crashed at midnight from the logs. it's unlikely that it's coz of the leap second...since ur comp has no way of knowing it was added. even if u have it auto-syncing with whichever ntp server it's unlikely (then it would crash everytime u changed the time to something in it's recent past).

what else is the logs?
