hello, im at a loss. i cant seem to figure out how to connect to my network to share files between computers. i just switched to xubuntu from dapper 6.06 because of it being unstable at this time. i could easily share files over my network with dapper but again, cant seem to figure it out with xubuntu. any help would be greatly appreciated!
You cannot connect to your network at all? Open the command line and as root give the "dhcpcd eth0" command. Or you can look at the results of "ifconfig" to see if you have a network card available. If so, does it have a valid IP address? You need to give some more details to get better help.
