xterm -fs switch


Im trying to use the -fs switch but I have no idea what is the syntax for that switch, there is nothing in the man page. I simply want to make the font bigger, it looks like it uses 8 by default.

#xlsfonts
the above will return the fonts installed on ur system......

the following line is the one i use for setting the font [ie. 10x16bold]

#xterm -bg black -cr green -fg lightgreen -C -fn 10x16bold -sl 500 +sb -geometry 150x100

i put -fs 25x25 to test things out but it doesnt work still?

#xlsfonts[lists all the fonts installed on ur comp]
10x16bold [output -> 10x16bold ]

which i am using in the command to start xterm [ie. i am using the font name --> -fn 10x16bold ] in the following line


#xterm -bg black -cr green -fg lightgreen -C -fn 10x16bold -sl 500 +sb -geometry 150x100
