xsupplicant help

I'm trying to get online using xsupplicant. I've done it once, but can't get it to work again.

Basically it gets to the point that says "Authenticated" and hangs there until it finally decides to disconnect. The problem is that it never generates an IP for me, though it did that one time.

I'm using Ubuntu 5.04, with a proxim orinoco 11a/b/g silver combocard.

heres the commands I'm using:
Code:
ifconfig ath0 down
iwconfig ath0 essid <network name>
iwconfig ath0 key <network key>
ifconfig ath0 up
xsupplicant -d2 -f
I don't have a copy of the xsupplicant script file in front of me because I'm booted into windows, but in the field that mentions first command run, this is there: dhcpcd -p %i

any help would be great.
