Xserver crashes after ending session (after upgrading tot kde 3.2.2)
Since I upgraded Kde to version 3.2.2 everytime I end a x-session, whether it is Kde or another displaymanager my xserver crashes. I return to the console instead of returning to the kdm login manager.
I'm running Slackware 9.1 and I've upgraded to kde 3.2.2 via the swaret update tool.
Distribution: Slackware 10.2, SmoothWall Express v3, Kubuntu 7.04, Mac OS X.4

Solved....
I use a ati radeon 9600 and some how, some way may fglrx kernel module was gone. I probably didn't compile it when I upgraded to the 2.6.6 kernel. Any way when i compiled it again al worked fine again.
For those of you curious how I found out it was the fglrx module... When I started Xfce via the startx command I noticed a message passing by 'Failed to load kernel module "fglrx"'
