xscreensaver in Freerock Gnome (Slack)
I have a problem with the way Gnome starts xscreensaver. I would like to add some options. Right now, xscreensaver is started (somewhere) with the option "-nosplash", but I want to add "-no-capture-stderr". Problem is, I can't find a script anywhere on my machine that runs xscreensaver! I've grep'd the whole system, and the only place I see "xscreensaver -nosplash" is inside a binary executable named 'gnome-settings-daemon'! I am new to Gnome and this seems like a bad way to do this; I would normally run xscreensaver in an xinitrc somewhere. Anybody got any ideas about how to work around this? Or tell me what I'm missing here, please!
