xscreensaver automatic startup in Mandriva 2008
Could somebody tell me how to set up the Xscreensaver to start automatically, when the KDE starts?
I use Mandriva 2008 and every time I log in, the Xscreensaver is off and I have to start it up from the 'run' menu. thanks |
One option is to add it to your .xinitrc file and have it launch just before your window manager is started.
xscreensaver -no-splash & You would need to identify which line to place this before. May be other ways to do it. Good luck |
where is that file located? I couldn't find it..
thanks |
I found an answer in another post, here at LQ
