XRDP on OpenSuSe 11.2

I have built a new server with OpenSuSe 11.2. I obtain the repository from here: http://download.opensuse.org/update/11.1/

The problem is that when attempt to install the xrdp, I receive an error stating that xorg.x11-server-dmx is missing or not installed. From here I can break xrdp and install anyway or not install it.

My question is, is there somewhere that I can download this missing piece from, or is there a better way to rdp to this server.

The server, much to my dismay, will be living 7 floors up and we need to access it more quickly than the elevator can take us to it.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I am not sure that this can be a helpful answer, but....

It looks as if xrdp isn't in repos for 11.2, but it is in (several repos, actually) for 11.1. i suspect that this is because some of the community repos for 11.1 haven't yet been reproduced for 11.2. In this case, it is possible that the problem might be 'cured' by waiting for a while. Or, there again, it might not be.

There are various thing that meet the description 'terminal' for 11.2, but, while I don't know them all, I doubt anything there meets your requirements.

So what exactly are you trying to do? Administer the upstairs server (maybe look at webmin)? monitor the server (ksysguard on the remote machine...monit/munin, nagios, puppet, cacti, monitorix and dozens of others...or just exporting the display, as it looks as if you are running X on the server)? Something else?
