XPde 0.4.0 problem, error while loading shared libraries: bplXPCommctrls.so: cannot o

i downloaded http://www.xpde.com/releases/xpde-0....30730.tar.gz.i am working in a lan node now.(without root permissions).i checked the INSTALL to see that i have to be root to run ./install.sh.i just checked install.sh,to see that it contained some shell commands lime mkdir and cd.(to make /opt etc).so i replaced / in '/opt' with '~/'.and then i ran ./install.sh successfully, and then setup.sh,to see that it is saying 'installation competed'.then i just tried
---------------Copied from xterm-------------------
bash-2.05$ pwd
/reccal/users/btech/mey2066/opt/xpde/bin
bash-2.05$ ls
applets bplXPCommctrls.so bplXPStyle.so libqt.so.2
apps bplXPCommon.so bplXPsysprovider.so stub.sh
bplrtl.so.6.9 bplXPMenus.so bplXPTrayIcon.so VTClx_K3.so
bplvisualclx.so.6.9 bplXPPrinting.so dclVTClx_K3.so XPde
bplXPAPI.so bplXPRegistry.so libborqt-6.9-qt2.3.so XPwm
bplXPColorSelect.so bplXPShellControls.so libqtintf-6.9-qt2.3.so
bash-2.05$ ./XPde
./XPde: error while loading shared libraries: bplXPCommctrls.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
--------------------------------------------
then i edited .bash_profile(i am doing a login from X after a 'user' login,so editing .xinitrc wont work) like
------------------------------------
#enlightenment
#~/bin/blackbox
#~/bin/fluxbox
#~/enlightenment/bin/enlightenment
#fvwm2
#mwm
~/opt/xpde/bin/XPde
----------------------------------------
and then i restarted X to see that it loades wmaker staightaway
what should i do now??i tried adding
'export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=~/opt/xpde/bin' or something to .bash_profile,without getting any results.what should i do now??
thanks in advance.

forget that try to get a older version (or wait for a newer one ) .. I also got the same problem and I think that they haven't included some libraries in the tarball..

BTW did you downloaded the full version or the no-libs version ?
