Thumbs up xp and rh7.1

I am trying to dual boot windows XP and RedHat 7.1.
They are located on two different physical drives,
Windows being the primary slave and RedHat being the
primary slave. When I choose XP from the lilo bootscreen,
I get an error 0x07. I have tried mapping the drives
0x80 to 0x81 and vice versa, but still no go. Is it possible for this to work using this setup?

Thanks!
josh

You said that Windows is the primary slave and RedHat is also the primary slave. So, how are they really connected?

Error 0x07 means:

Quote:
0x07 Invalid initialization. The BIOS failed to properly initialize the disk controller. You should control the BIOS setup parameters. A warm boot might help too.

As far as i know you can only have one primary on the hard drive, second one should be extention or secondary. change the setting of one of the hard drive to secondary and try.
