xosview only finding one processor

I have been trying out various versions of inux on my old server and have decided to stay with mandrake 10.1
When i installed xosview it only shows one of the four processors, does this mean that linux is only detecting one? even though it boots into the smp version. Is there any other way i can check?

Cheers Tink

Tried cat /proc/cpuinfo, even that only displayed one cpu. Any idea how to make mandrake reconise the other?
Maybe it because they are old processors and not supported, the old server is running four pent pro 200Mhz.

Most welcome!

Chose a different kernel ... which one did it pick?
uname -a

Maybe you'll have to recompile one to match your
specific set-up...

Cheers,
Tink

After entering uname -a is gives

Linux localhost 2.4.27-0.pre2.lmdksmp #1 SMP Fri Jun 4 03:25:07 CEST 2004 i686 Pentium Pro unknown GNU/LINUX

What does it mean? if i need to recompile the kernal for my configuration, how do i go about it?
