Unhappy XOrg/XFree86 with graphic 3D accel enabled

Hello,

whenever I let XOrg to turn on graphics 3D acceleration on my Mandrake 10.1 CE Linux the mouse has a weird behaviour at the position Y=0 of the screen. It jumps forward and backward when I move it over resizable windows.
Another thing is that near minimize, restore, maximize buttons of the windows, when it turns from unactive to active, the color remains in the inactive. This only happens sometimes.
Another clue is that when playing xmame games, some games the image is divided in two parts. The right side of the screen is at the left side and the left side is at the right side.
Weird no?
Is it related to XOrg/XFree86 environment or it's the graphic card drivers?

I've an ACER Laptop with a Radeon Mobility 9700 with 64MB and I installed the drivers that I got from ATI web site coz the ones from the instalation CD doesn't activate 3D acceleration.

I really would like to put this one working with Linux.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Try ati's newest Radeon linux driver http://www2.ati.com/drivers/linux/fg....14.6.i386.rpm
If that does not work I would try a newer verson of Xorg
