THANK YOU VERY MUCH
I have seen the FAQ , it has all the info.
Thanks for the quick reply. |
hey..
1- To install the skins, You have a .xmms folder in your home dir, just go the: .xmms --> Skins --> 'unpack here your skins' Than: 2- you have to go: (or alt + S ) options --> skin browser than you will be at the skin selector then you can select wich one you prefer, or 'select randon skin' |
you don't need to actually unpack anything in regards to xmms skins. another alternative directory to install skins into that makes them globally accessible to all users is
/usr/share/xmms/Skins. if Skins doesn't exist, you can create it and it will work. Code:
/usr/share/xmms/Skins$ ls -l |
I have a bunch of skins here;
http://abbottdavid.no-ip.info/Skins/ some of the better ones; http://abbottdavid.no-ip.info/fluxbox/index4.html |
Thanks once more guys .... Useful tip for creating /usr/share/xmms/skins :)
Thanks to david for skins url ;) & Thanks to all who have helped me |
oh yeah, if you didn't know, you can use your classic winamp skins.
|
I read that I can use them from the faq provided by win32sux :)
