xmms segfaults on startup

Recently whenever I try to start xmms it segfaults and quits. Running it through gdb gives me the following debug info:
Code:
Program received signal SIG32, Real-time event 32.
0x403502e1 in sigpending () from /lib/libc.so.6
(gdb) bt
#0 0x403502e1 in sigpending () from /lib/libc.so.6
#1 0x403503a7 in sigsuspend () from /lib/libc.so.6
#2 0x401e2258 in pthread_getconcurrency () from /lib/libpthread.so.0
#3 0x401e1ac5 in pthread_create () from /lib/libpthread.so.0

#5 0x0807e35f in main (argc=1, argv=0xbffff5b4) at main.c:3560
I'm running xmms 1.2.10 on slackware 10 with kde 3.2.

Any ideas?
Thanks!
