xmms mp3s


i have red hat 8.0

i have xmms installed on it

but it does not play the mp3's i am having neither they get added to the playlist

whereas they go on fine in windows

wave files do get played and added into playlist

anybody plz help

Red Hat 8 & 9 niether include the mp3 plugin.. simple fix, download the XMMS mp3 plugin and your good to go

In your home directory, delete your xmms config file (i think its .xmms). that worked for me.

u say or mp3 plugin

but where to find that plugin plzz tell me

the link

what u say of deleting the config file that i'll try and report wether it works
