XMMS mp3 rpm problem

I just downloaded the mp3 rpm. When I double click the file to install, it says unlocatable package: XMMS. required by: ( 'xmms-mp3', '1.2.7', '0.rhfc1.dag.') What does this mean? How can I fix it? BTW, I am not using this RPM illegally. I am using it to download copyright and royalty free remixes off of www.ocremix.org.

You sure you have XMMS installed properly? Check your version too, I'm just guessing but I think it's trying to look for version 1.2.7.

I believe that Fodora core uses emerge does it not? I don't remember exactly, do this as root

emerge xmms

See if that installs anything or makes a difference.
