XMMS brakes titles if filename contains spaces?

I fixed it by disabling the id3 v2 tags in the settings of the Mpeg 1/2/3 Player input plugin.

I've been trying to find some info on this problem but I couldn't, so I'm posting here hoping somebody knows how to fix this.

XMMS seems to brake the titles of files that contain spaces in their filename.

It displays random letters from the filename. It doesn't seem to even bother reading the ID3 tags.

All of the problematic files have an ID3 tag. It plays the files normally, but the entries in the playlist become unrecognizable.

Here you can see a
screenshot showing my problem.

Thanks in advance

PS: My music is mounted on a FAT32 partition... may be i should mount with some special parameters (encoding, maybe)?
